Drive Overview
Once your device is connected, the Overview shows a summary of the device that you are using. For a summary of each axis on your device, see Axis Overview.
You can view or edit the following information from the Overview window.

Name |
Names each device in use with a unique identifier. |
|

Device Model |
Displays the model number of this device. The model number is also on the label on the side of the device. If you are using Offline Emulation, then you can change the type of device that you are simulating. |

Device Type |
Displays the operational fieldbus for your device. |
|
|
Device State |
The device is active when it is enabled and also supplies voltage to the AXIS#.MOTOR. |

Device Display |
Simulates the display on your device if available. |
|
| Blink | Causes the device display to flash. | |

More / Less |
Click More or Less to show or hide Custom Identifier, Serial Number,Hardware Version, Firmware Version, and Cumulative On Time. |

Serial Number |
This text box displays the unique serial number of the drive you are communicating with. The serial number is also shown on the label on the side of the drive. |

| Hardware Version | Displays the hardware version of the connected device. | |
|
Firmware Version |
This text box displays the version of the firmware code running inside the drive. Click the Update... button to change the firmware on the device. |
|
|
Cumulative On Time |
This text box displays the cumulative time this drive has been powered on. When the drive is powered on, this value continues counting from the value it had when the drive was last turned off. |
